

If you're anything like me you are always seeing photos pop up on the social networks featuring Hipstamatic "prints" or digital photos made to look like they were shot on expired slide film.
Well, I've got a treat for you. These photos here are actually shot with expired slide film. The landscape of Germany Valley in West Virginia was shot on carefully preserved Fuji Velvia, but the portraits were shot on a roll of Fuji Sensia 200 that had been sitting in the glove box of my car for about seven years. I love the results, it makes me understand why people shoot the Hipstamatic. Check out more on my film set on Flickr.
